On December 22, 2023, SEEKH Foundation organized an exposure visit to the Engineering Department of Jamia Millia Islamia for 30 students from marginalized communities. This initiative aimed to provide students with an inspiring opportunity to explore innovative ideas and sustainable practices while fostering a passion for learning and higher education. During the visit, the children were introduced to sustainable and waste-product engineering projects developed by the university’s engineering students. These projects showcased creative ways to repurpose waste materials into useful products, offering valuable insights into environmental sustainability and innovation. The interaction with university students allowed SEEKH Foundation’s students to engage in meaningful discussions, ask questions, and understand the importance of education in addressing real-world challenges. The visit not only highlighted the transformative power of education but also motivated the students to dream big and pursue their academic goals with confidence. It was heartening to see their curiosity and excitement as they explored the engineering lab and its projects. This collaboration between SEEKH Foundation and the Engineering Department of Jamia Millia Islamia reflects our commitment to creating opportunities for marginalized children to gain exposure to new ideas and broaden their horizons. By connecting them with higher educational institutions, we aim to build their confidence and inspire them to envision a brighter future for themselves.
